OMG the MOST Awesome Protein shake EVER

I had several of my EAS protein shakes freeze in my fridge...well the protein clumped up.
Yuck Right.

So I remembered someone here mentioned adding peanut butter to their chocolate protein shake.
I searched in the dark corner of the bottom cabinet and found the blender.  I poured the clumpy chocolate shake into the blender and added 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut and hit a button.  Out come the most awesome tasting protein skake.  It is like "drinking" a peanut butter cup...One of the reasons why I wear a size 22 not a 12.

So I really don't know if peanut butter is OK on my prep-op diet but it is liquid now!!

I guess I will have to check into no sugar added peanut butter if there is such a thing???

I could not throw away a protein shake I had to fix it...they are expensive!!

Thanks because I was really mourning the loss of PB cups.

Have you ever tried instant sugar-free coffee in your shakes?  That is my next adventure~~~

Yes! Instant coffee in my morning shake is my new daily wake-up ritual. I use Click and add a Starbuck's Via. And something I'll add some cream, too. Heat it just enough that it doesn't clump. Yep. Pretty good.

Natural peanut butter! It separates (oil goes on top) so you have to stir but it has no added sugar. I usually fix the sweet factor with a couple packets of splenda. or even better, some grocery stores have the peanut grinder right there where you can make your own PB fresh. Mmm!!

l had Jif or Skippy  Natural (forgive my crappy memory), but it didn't have any added crap - it was just ground peanuts... l got it at the regular grocery for around $5...

You could never, ever throw away a shake! lol!!!

l love the instant coffee in them, too.  Alot of people (me, too) add protein powder TO the coffee as a creamer.   Did you check out    theworldaccordingtoeggface  blog yet?  She gives a crapload of recipes.

You can also add PB2 for way less cal/fat.  Expensive though.  I'm a choc/PB lover too.
