If I'm bein a smartass I will say cocaine, heroin, crack, or meth. I realize that may be insensitive, however the reaction I get is hilarious and I usually say I had fat boy surgery. And yeah, I referred to it like that when I was still 380.

Iv'e been wondering myself how to deal with this. My best friends and family know and that is it. I am wondering how to respond if someone just comes out and asks if I had surgery!!!! I hate not telling the truth but I know these people don't care about me (co-workers) so why should I have to tell them what I do in my personal life..

I tell everyone who inquires that I had VSG. I will even draw pics if they are interested. Only way to drop the WLS stigma is to let people know that regular folks do it everyday and are thrilled with the results.

I am not big boned! Bones don't jiggle!
