Appt to meet the surgeon for the 1st time!!!!Sooo Nervous!
Well I have my first appointment with the surgeon tomorrow. I went through the pre-surgery 6 months worth of classes etc already through insurance, and now it's time to meet the surgeon, the therapist etc. so that the actual surgeon can "clear me" for surgery.
I am both nervous and embarassed because I have gained 30 pounds since first starting the process with my insurance company. I was diagnosed with a thyroid issue though and since taking medication along with going to the gym I have lost 6 of those pounds. Just a tiny little dent but at least it's a dent.
I am really hoping that the surgeon will be a little forgiving, but I am prepared for being told that I will need to drop some pounds first. I just REALLY want my sleeve and hope that I didn't cause myself any more delays...
