I am 15 days post-op today and I can tell you all... that what you are feeling is totally normal.  When I went to the hospital I told everyone I didn't want to do this, but my hubby told me it was the right thing to do and I was in good hands.  It is so scary but remember you all did a ton of research on VSG and you are all prepared and have great surgeons.  You have a fighting chance now to lose weight with this tool.  - Good luck to you all and if you are feeling scared at hospital talk to the nurses the doctors etc.. it does help if the medical staff is caring :)

Yep you will be fine!  Also - remember that the death rate for all of us is eventually 100%.  What kind of life do you want for the time you have?  That is why you are doing this right?  To live a longer and fuller life?

Go get it!

This is so normal! I think everyone is nervous and scared before their surgery date. I'm a year and a half out from my sleeve and three weeks post plastics. To this day the sleeve is one of the greatest and I mean GREATEST things I have ever done. I wasted way too many years being overweight, out of breathe, tired, and hating myself! The sleeve opened up a whole new world to me. I found me again! Trust me the scary, nervous part is nothing in comparison to what your going to get out of doing it. So relax, take a deep breathe and get ready for an amazing journey! Life is good post sleeve. Best of luck and many prayers. You'll do fine!

I go in on Monday and I am a mess, I have been here and done this all before (only for Lap Band, then band removal) and I am still a nervous wreck. Just keep running the positives though your head and find something to keep you busy!
