SV and NSV (Scale Victory and Non Scale Victory)

WOW -- is all I can say !  This process is truly an "E" ticket ride.

First -- my scale victory !!!

You know the slidey thing that you put on the 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 tab on the old fashioned doctor's scale ?  I had to MOVE IT TO THE  150 !!!!!!  I got on the scale at Curves to see how it compared to my bathroom scale at home.....and realized that I HAD TO MOVE THE THINGY OVER !!!! 

I do not know when I last got to do that !!!  (25 years ??!)

Now for my Non Scale Victory :

Needed jeans to go camping next week.  Went to Walmart;

Size 16 !!!!!   I took in a 18W and an 18.  Had to get dressed again and go in search of smaller size !!!! 

All I can say is WOW. 

My weight loss may have slowed down some, but the changes are still happening -- just at different intervals now.  It seems like smaller quantities of weight loss are making bigger changes in terms of what size I wear.  Or maybe it's just that I didn't own any clothes smaller than a 20, and now have to buy things more often ???

So funny ... I used the E Ticket phrase recently at work and most didn't know what I was talking about.  Glad to hear someone else using it.

WooHoo!  You had better hit up the thrift stores for all of your new, smaller clothes.  So happy for you.

I LOVE camping! What part of the country are you camping in? Hopefully somewhere with cooler temps! Too hot in GA right now! We will be going in Sept. to NC to camp. Have fun!

We live in the high desert of California. Will be in Yosemite ! In the high sierra. Temps should be mild --80 to 85 during the mid day, nights in the mid to high 50's. Perfect camping weather !
