I'm tired and I have a cold

I'm tired. I think the calorie restriction is making me tired. I cant figure out how to get in 40 grams of protien with only the couple of tablespoons of food (soft food stage) and clear liquids. I get about 30 a day. This is for 2 more weeks.
I still feel very restricted when I eat or drink anything more than 1/2 to 3/4 cup at a time, even water.
I keep trying.

And now I've picked up some kind of a cold and I'm feeling drained. No gym today. Too tired.

Just venting, (sigh)

Are you unable to use the protein powders?  Put it in your food, make shakes, drinks, whatever works.  It's about the only way to get your protein in this early out.

My restriction is really good, too, and at two months out, I still supplement with one protein shake per day. I have that at breakfast, which gets me 23g of protein before I have any food for the day. I highly recommend you either supplement with shakes or with adding protein to food as emelar suggested. By the way, my protein goal is 60+g per day. Your 40g goal seems low? But if that's your program, then follow it. But most people here would recommend higher than 40.

Hope your cold resolves soon! Feeel better!

I can't keep my senses together;
I've come to the end of my tether.
The sneezing, the hacking;
The cough, body-racking —
This cold has me under the weather!

  If it feels good, do it!  And if it smells good, eat it!

I'm just looking for sympathy...
My surgeon told me to shoot for 40 grams per day but, I'm going to check now.
I do try to have a shake for breakfast but my restriction is the tightest when I wake up. So it's tough. But I do manage to get it down so I get 20 grams there.
1/4 cup of cottage cheese for another 8 grams.

For dinner I just steamed up some talapia and managed to get down most. I figured if tuna was on the list of soft foods then talapia couldn't be that far off either.

I took some dayquill. I feel a little better. But I think I'm going to bed soon.

Thanks for the feedback.
