It's a little thing, but I am proud of myself!

 I know other people really won't understand why I am so proud of myself, but I am! 

Today I made over 100 chocolate lollipops for my kids birthday party (to give as favors), and I didn't even lick a spoon or my fingers, not a BIT of the chocolate crossed my lips. Most years I would be cleaning out the bowls with my fingers, and licking all the spoons (not to mention eating all the rejects! But I stuck it out, and just sipped my green tea the whole time, and they are all done and wrapped!

I don't know how to make chocolate lollipops but I could eat all 100 of them on my own before surgery!

 All that resisiting and I just got a call to tell me that b/c of Hurricane Irene they are canceling the baseball game we are supposed to be having the party at. I could just SCREAM at this point.
