Have you heard the GOOD NEWS??

 ......well, here goes....... I went to the doctor today for my 2 1/2 month's visit and I'm officially....*drum roll, please* 66 pounds lighter!! Time has already flown, and the weight is coming off. There's ABSOLUTELY NO WAY in the WORLD....UNIVERSE......or PLANET would I been able to have done so without this surgery! I used to say that I didn't know if I was "happy" just yet......however, I will say this.......I'm excited about what is to come!!! If you'd like to see my progress, please look at the pics on my profile. I posted a new picture last night, and I am starting to see a difference! I'm praying for continued success!!!

That is wonderful!!!  Congratulations and keep on losing.  I'm scheduled for surgery on Tuesday and these stories really inspire me and help confirm I'm doing the right thing!!!

How wonderful!!!!  Thanks for the inspiration.  I just had my surgery Monday, and am struggling with the early days of getting in enough fluids, dealing with discomfort (not enough for meds thank goodness), and not feeling like I need a nap every time I do anything.  Hearing the success of others who have been doing well, not too far out from surgery, keeps me in a positive frame of mind.  Thank you!!!!!  Mary

 I didn't get enough fluids, I've had minimal discomfort, and I slept all day and night at first...so, I know your sentiments!! It's a major surgery and like anything else...it's a process...healing takes time! You'll be grateful that you made this decision. Be encouraged!
