Overwhelming Macy's shopping experience....
I know Dr Billy's your surgeon and he's in Ventura/Thousand Oaks so my first question was gonna be, "which macys?" because I work in the Thousand Oaks one and I was there all day today. But you said yours is 1 story :( That sale was CRAZY today. I sold a ton of those $5 things last week. And also - some of the brands actually just run really big/long. I work in petites on the weekends. There is a petite version of every Macy's brand and that's exactly why. So don't worry that you're shrinking too much.. it's partly the clothes :P
Oh, and congrats on being petite.. it means you're adorable! :]

Palmdale ! Dr Billy does contract for Kaiser out here. I consider myself so lucky to have been able to have him as a surgeon.
You WORK Macy's ??? I could have used a personal shopper !!!! I bought some cute t-shirts to pair with capri's for under seven bucks. I was over the moon !!! Next shopping trip, I'm heading into town and hitting up a bigger store. (I'm so brave !) Part of it, is that I have spent the majority of my adult life in the Women's department, with limited selection -- made it fairly easy to shop. When faced with three quarters of the entire store......it was a really overwhelming experience. However, I did note that if you buy high end designer brands; you CAN wear smaller sizes !! I fit into a couple 14 slacks....but didn't get them, because they gapped at the waist, and fit weird.
I loved that sale yesterday ! Bought clothes for less than I can at Wally world !

Haha I'd be your personal shopper! It can definitely be overwhelming. When I started working there I was in the regular sized women's areas. It's like most of the store so it's kind of intense. (I work in a 2-story store with 2 seperate buildings.) If it helps any, it's organized by STYLE. So if you know you like a particular brand, other stuff you might like should be around the same area. If you like the "older ladies" style - all the karen scott, charter club, jones new york, ralph lauren, not your daughter's jeans is all right next to each other. Style&co is about the middle of the road style-wise and it's usually nearby too.
Hopefully that helps when you get to the gigantic scary store :] Also, check out clearance racks. Most of the coupons work on clearanced items.. so you end up getting 20% off a $9.99 item. And if you have multiple coupons, ask the sales person to do seperate transactions. Most employees are too lazy to offer to do it for you. lol.
