3 weeks and doing better, my incisions have all healed, the largest one still burns on occ but its less frequent than before, I sometime think I can eat too much I'm able to eat almost a whole yogurt, and not quite 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (not at the same time of course)I have never thrown up, I don't eat to the point of being sick, and rarely finish what I put on my plate, I do get in all my protein and all my fluids, and walk daily. the scale did not move for me from day 9 till 14 I gave my scales away. and waited until today to weigh in, and Id lost 4 lbs so they are moving again, just like the vets said they would. 21 lbs since surgery!!!! medications Im taking are Bp med, multi vit with Iron, colace, nexium, and I have one more week of coumadin. my energy level is not back to normal yet but I feel better everyday!

Thanks to all of you who have given me encouragement and advice, I couldn't have done this without your help!!! .........hugs, Connie

Hi Connie, glad to hear you are doing so well.  Wow, 21lbs, that is so great!  I am 6 days out and do my walking, still working on getting the water in. I see the Dr today for my follow up. Lets keep in touch with each other. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Mary, its hard in the beginning to get the fluids in the proteins were easier for me, but fluids are more important, keep trying and keep up the good work, of course I want to keep in touch! good luck with your follow up today!.......Connie

Yep, you are doing great !!! MY week three stall lasted a full three weeks !!! So do not despair...the scale will be your friend in the long run.

Once you transition to regular foods and can eat dense protein you will find that you will feel your restriction much more. At almost 8 months out, I can only eat about 2 and a half ounces of chicken or beef, with maybe three bites of a vegie !!! I still have protein based planned snacks throughout the day to keep fueled !!!

You are doing great!!!

Youre doing awesome sleeve sister!  I'm down 17 as of today post op, and have really felt a turn around over the weekend of really starting to feel normal again!  I still have a few more weeks until I move on to solid foods, but am doing a great job of getting all of my protein, fluids, and supplements in.

I was scared I was in a stall this week, I weighed exactly the same every stinkin day since last Monday and then BAM was down 2.2 today.  I am so thankful for that!

Youre doing fantastic!!!
