Isopure Protein Drink

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a good deal on these drinks. I went to Vitamin Shoppe and tried the grape flavor and it was not bad at all. They sell a case of 12 for like $45.00. I really think that this would help me meet my daily protein goals on a daily basis. 40grams each bottle. 20 oz!

I think GNC has deals if you're a "member" and the membership is not expensive.  I can tolerate the Isopure drinks occasionally.  It's not a perfect protein but I think it helps some.

I would HIGHLY recomment tasting one of these or buying a single bottle before buying a case.  I cannot stand them (the texture, the flavor and the way I feel after drinking them).  I'm stuck with a whole case.

They have sort of a chalky texture and contain a lot of sorbitol, which makes me experience nausea followed by explosive diarhea.  I can handle most things and am usually not a whiner, but this has been my experience with Isopure.

My nut recommended mixing Isopure into other drinks to mask the flavor if you don't like it.
Some people call is Isopuke. LOL

You can try the single serve bottles in the cooler at The Vitamin Shoppe.  Each one that I've been to in my tri-county area has had the grape flavor for 50% off.  (I was there yesterday but YMMV)  I'd also check Amazon as well.  I couldn't stand any of the flavors pre or post op so they went down the drain.

I actually like Isopure -I can't stand the milk/creamy drinks. I agree with what the group says - go to GNC and try the different flavors. I just tried Blue Raspberry and it is my new favorite! It is not as strong as some of the other flavors. Plus the no carbs is a huge benefit to drinking it vs. other drinks. If you decide to order a case watch GNC - they do bogo 1/2 sales all the time and they ship the case for a flat rate of $5. Plus if you are a member you get 10-20% off which is great for vitamins too!

Thanks everyone! I have tried the grape flavor so I think that I may go to GNC and try a case of them.
