Today is Thursday... we are inching closer to FRIDAY! 

LND: 2 oz baked pork tenderloin, 1 T mashed potatoes
LNS: 3 beef nachos, 4 cheese curds

B: protein shake
S: greek yogurt
L: 2.5 oz grilled chicken, 1.5 T lite honey  mustard
S: laughing cow cheese wedge, turkey stick
D: 2 oz grilled chicken, 3 stems broccoli
S: 20 pistachios

water: halfway done
vitamins: Yes
exercise: not sure?

Oh how delicious ANY type of food sounds. I'm still on liquids..blahhh

Breakfast: My first taste of yogurt since surgery (thanks Paige) went down really well!! Had about 2 oz.

Lunch- Ordered my fave chicken soup - broth only for dinner last night, so leftovers for me!

Dinner- More broth.

Water- trying to get as much as I can down!
Vitamins- done
Excersize- not yet.

PS- I can't tolerate proteins yet, still trying- so don't be hard on me for no protein! It will come in time...

Sounds like you are doing pretty well for 8 days out of surgery.  I struggled with protein like crazy the first two weeks.  As the swelling went down, it got better.

B: protein Shake and some v8
S: 4 oz of milky soup w/whey added
L: Thinned and strained Bean/bacon soup 6 oz with 2 oz V8
S: none yet

Water: about 32 Oz's with one proti diet added 15 grams protien
Vitimins: Calcium half done.

Exercise, walked a mile, did rotator cuff exercises.

Silly_Sweet - Thanks for the encouragement! I feel well and have decent amounts of energy, I don't know from where but I'm not complaining!

And WOW- Mr- Smith, you had my surgery date too but are getting so much more in! Thats awesome.

I have been very lucky and have had a very good recovery so far.  I can get all my carbs, protein and fluids in and feel pretty good.  My primary complaint is my throat is raspy from the breathing tube.

I'm actually back to work today.

Hang in there.  Try some of that Proti Diet for your protein, it's pretty tasty and goes down like water.

Yes, of course!  All are welcome... liquids, pureed, mushies, soft, regular.  The more the merrier!

I'm working through progressing from mushy/puree's to more texture right now :)

B: 1/2 a scrambled egg (it didnt want to go in today for some reason)
S: Protein Mocha (1 scoop jay rob chocolate, 2 tsp decaf instant coffee, 1 cup milk warmed up...YUM)
L: 1/4 c buffalo chicken salad
S: Premier Nutrition Protein Shake
D: 2 oz Shrimp 2 Tbsp pureed sweet potato

Water: 64 oz
Vitamins: Almost done
Exercise: 30 Minutes Walking
