Frisco-**2 Years-Long Post-Pics and Swagger**
Frisco you look fantastic! I hope everyone reads that post. I know you will be successfull for life. It sounds like you really have your head in the right space. I hope everyone who is thinking about this surgery reads your advice and gives it a lot of thought. My surgeon said "I've done the surgery, the rest is up to you" He meant the eating and exercise part. My 3month check is next week. If your fade out begins with that post, best wishes for a happy health life. I hope to run into you at a meetup someday.
Frisco,
I have been coming to this site for the last 4 months ( lurking for sometime before I started to post) and you have been an inspiration the entire time. You give straight forward advise, great recipes, and now this inspirational story and pictures! Thank you, thank you!
I started this journey over 1 year ago. I was born with hip displasia and scoliosis that was not diagnosed or treated as a child. I used to be very active as a young adult, then pain took over and my mobility basically was nil. I had a hip replacement at age 44, but now have chronic back, neck and hip pain and because of the mobility issues, I gained weight. Now I'm doing something about it! Water aerobics, a walker, and WLS!
Please keep your wonderful recipes coming and thank you for caring enough to share your story.
Congratulations on your wonderful effort and weight loss, you look fantastic!!!
Hugs
Carlen

The one huge key (at least to me) was this statement...
I can tell you for sure that the number one thing I did/do and recommend to all sleevers is to always “Under Eat" your sleeves capacity.
I am 6 months post op and have felt major restriction only 3 or 4 times. I weigh everything and limit my self to 3oz of dense protein per meal. I don't eat until I am full. Another thing that I learned from Frisco was the deck of cards concept. When I am at a restaurant I vision of deck of cards on the protein and eat that size portion.
That was a great post Frisco, and thank you for all the information you bring to the forum. I truely credit you and your posts as a reason why this surgery has worked for me so well.
