Brandilynn noticed I used cabbage a lot.....she called me a "Georgia Boy" I guess in Georgia it's Slaw on everything !!!!

Than I thought about it.... I do love me some slaw.....I love the taste....I love the crunch..... I love the roughage.

Than I thought the possibilities with Cole Slaw are endless !!!! This stuff will take on any flavors or just work as a nice neutral cleanser.

I so wanna try.....pesto, curry, marinated blue cheese, adding slivered almonds or chopped walnuts.....berries, dried fruits.......frickin endless !!!!!

Here are 5 takes on my Slaw Campaign

great idea frisco! I am just now starting to enjoy cole slaw again - these are great ways to get a little veggie in! Thanks for sharing! What kind of "sauce" do you use for your cole slaw?

I have a friend who always makes Ramen noodle cabbage salad for potlucks.  I looked up the recipe and thought man that would be great with a little shredded chicken added.  It has cabbage, slivered almonds, sunflower nuts, scallions, and a vinegarette dressing.  Added the chicken and it was a wonderful asian type chicken salad.

Yum. Blue cheese slaw is the best! There is a restaurant in NC that has the best, although it is not a "light" version. Actually love all slaw, can't wait until I am off mushies.

I'm with you Frisco. I lived in the south for a number of years, and I find that cole slaw is good with everything.  I don't really like slaw dogs anymore though.  None of the processed foods sit well with me now.

Frisco, if you ever get over to the east bay, there's a cole slaw at Market Hall that's to die for, with slivered almonds and cilantro.  SO delicious.  I could eat a bucket of it.  Well, I used to be able to. ;-)
