I am counting down the days. Its getting nearer and nearer and I am suddenly starting to feel extremely scared! And excited. I have butterflies. I am SO scared something will go wrong and I might die! Thats what I am afraid of. Because I am so big. I weigh 370 lbs. AND have sleep apnea. What if I stop breathing whle Im in there? Ahh I am afraid. I just have to remember God is with me. And remember my favorite verse. "Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will help you. Yes I will lift you up with my righteous right hand." Thank you Jesus.

I wishh you all the luck in the world. Remember, in addition to God, you will also have a very skilled anesthesiologist in the room with you!

I will send up a prayer for you. When is your surgery?
I was scared too and had no problems at all. Just have faith that God will answer all of your prayers!

Mine is November 10th ...Less than a month !!!!
You can't stop breathing , because you will have a breathing tube and the anesthesiologist will make sure you keep on breathing

You have made a really smart and brave decision to improve your health and life.  You have faith and you need some faith in your surgeon's skills and that you are doing the right thing.  I have absoulutely no regrets.  I was a little anxious the night before surgery but I have never felt more at peace with a decision in my life as I did the morning of surgery.  The anesthetist offered IV meds to help relax and I swear I didn't need them at all.  Good Luck

Keep it right there. Know that God is with you no matter where you are and there will be angels camped around you in that room, hospital and all the way. You can do this!

I was 502 when I went into surgery. Things have changed a lot and the anesthesiologist has all type of tricks for sleep anea and any other illness you may suffer from. Do not worry and trust in the Lord. You will be just fine! :o)
