Thank you  Everyone    I really appreciate the input.  My boss is who she is and discussing this with her is not something I have ever wanted to do.  Having said that, I did have to tell her my intention for the surgery back in May.  She mentioned that I would lose alot of my hair and that it would take 10 years off my life.  We didn't speak of it again until I told her last week that I had been approved for surgery and she brought it up again.  I  didn't comment at the time but it bugged me.  I am assured now that I am absolutely doing the right thing for me and it will improve my life.  As for my lifespan, it is in bigger hands than mine anyway.  Just had to see if there was any validity to her statement.

I hope that surgery doesn't make me look 10 years younger.  I still get carded sometimes and I'm almost 36!  I do not want to look 11!!  Why didn't anyone warn me of this hazard!!!  LOL

Here's my take;

I'm pretty miserable with the way I feel physcally and how my excess weight keeps me from doing what I would like. I would rather live 10 less years and enjoy them than live 10 years longer and be miserable!

If you tell her that... I bet it would shut her up pretty darn quick!
