I had mine on tues and have taken an antacid every day since. He didnt want my stomach to form any ulcers. I have to take 30mg of lansoprazole to calm down the stomach acids.  Maybe this will help?  I'd check with your doc right away.

I know you're in pain but you MUST walk. Even for a short lap around the house every 30 minutes. I had foamy/gassy stuff all lodged in me while I was at the hospital and nothing relieved it except moving. It's hard, I understand, but please try. Try Gas-X strips as well. They dissolve in your mouth, no swallowing required.

Talk to your doc about a PPI.  My surgon prescribes one for every patient the first 30 days to quite the stomach down.  GasX strips may help with the gas pains.  Be sure to walk, sip lots of clear PROTIEN like IsoPure or Proti-diet.  Sip lots of water and get some serious sleep. I took the pain drugs at night just so I woudl sleep well.  That helps me heal up faster.   Walking short durations several times a day is what your after.

It does get better and quicker then you might expect.  Just get your fluids in, protien, walk and sleep.
