the morning after pill

only 6 mos out and not wanting to have a baby yet, is it safe to take the morning after pill with our surgery? if anyone has taken it what are the side effects

yes, its fine. it is ok to to take birth control and emergency contraceptives such as the morning after pill post op. But remember, it should not be your main method of birth control, it throws your cycle out of whack.
 

And we are more fertile post op with the weight loss so the sooner you take it after an accident the more effective it is in preventing pregnancy. and make sure you get on a rotuine birth control method such as the pill, shot, or iud if you arent already because there are many 'oopsies' on this board!.
