OT - Could use some prayers or good thoughts....

My Nanny (my fathers mother, I call my mothers mother grandma) had a stroke today, she has been having small ones for a few months but they have not been too bad, the doctors basically told us though that it was only a matter of time before she had a big one and it looks like this might be it.

She is the matriarch of our very large family and we are all very close, so this is a blow. Any good thoughts or prayers that you can spare for my family would be appreciated.

My prayers go out to you and your family, depend on each other for strength in this time of need, my family is large as well and when things like this happen, family is definitely what you need.

Take care

Thank you all SO much, your prayers where heard! After much testing it shows that she DID NOT have a stroke, but one of the wires on her pacemaker has come lose so it wasn't working! She went into surgery this morning to have it fixed and was doing well when I spoke to her a bit ago, and she should be good as new in a week or so.

I know we are just buying time, but it's time I am happy to have.

So glad to hear she is dong better and it wasn't a stroke. I lost my son to a stroke at the young age of 23. Sending prayers your way that things keep loking up for her.
