New Easy Food Find...
I found these trays at target for 10 bucks... sometimes on sale for $5!!! I take out the club crackers it comes with and replace them with whole wheat ritz... This tray last for a good week or two if I can keep the kids away!
This one is cheddar, colby jack, sliced sausage and pepperoni... they have another with ham and turkey cut into cute lil crackers size circles! I love things like this that take the work out of finding protein based foods. I know some folks on here stay away from sodium laden lunch meats... I'm not one of them... I focus on higher protein lower carb foods. Foods that are easy and ready in a pinch. This feels like a treat for me... I just had 4 crackers 4 pieces of meat and 4 pieces of cheese for lunch and I'm a happy camper.
For me this is really the only way for WLS to work... find foods I love, with flavors I like that take all the guess work out of things. Things I can keep at home so I'm not tempted to go pick up bad **** all the time. There are options out there for us folks... YAY us!!!

No **** - when I read the title I was like "hmm I wonder if it's a lunchable-type thing" because that is what I'm eating right now (sans the crackers, with dabs of dijon added). Too funny!!!
We don't have a target here. Boo. BOO I SAY.

The skim milk diet is the pre-op liquid diet that I have to be on for 3 weeks prior to surgery. It entails drinking as much milk as I can in a ten minute period 3 times a day, In addition to decaf coffee, water, propel, crystal light etc. I've heard so many different renditions of it on the site. I wasn't sure if you had any tips or suggestions for getting through it. I start on Monday and I feel a little overwhelmed. No food for amost 4 weeks? That seems impossible. Ecspecially when you've had a relationship with food all of your life. ya know? ****!
Any advice you have would be appreciated. Thanks Jen!
