Almost everyone on this board did the exact same thing.  If your surgery is tomorrow, stop looking on this board, have a relaxing evening and go to bed early.  I can tell you that this was the best decision, health wise, I have ever made.  I don't regret it at all and only wish I did it sooner.

it can be an overwhelming feeling but i want to encourage you to trust your decision, trust your doctors and have faith.

there are tons of people here who were nervous and now don't regret that decision. (i'm 100+ pounds lighter for sticking with it...)

we are all here for you and are sending you positive thoughts....

Good luck & see you on the "losers" bench.

Perfectly normal!  Now - just relax!  You did your research, you picked a great surgeon.  You are about to give yourself a gift that will give you back your health and allow you to live a much fuller life.  Congratulations on making a great decision - you are going to do great tomorrow - have a little bit of an uncomfortable week (that you won't even remember in a couple of months), and then move on to a life where you have control over food!

Good luck - happy thoughts and prayers headed your way!

I got cold feet 5 minutes before they wheeled me into surgery.... it's normal.  Don't sweat it.

I had cold feet right up until they wheeled me into the OR. Thank God that the anesthesiologist recognized it and gave me a "little something" in the holding area that kept me from bailing right off that gurney! You'll do great!!
See you on the other side!!
