Ditto on the age, you really did lose 10+ years along with that 400 sticks of butter (my way of measuring) Great Job !! Can't wait till I get my "tool"

Thank you so much to all of you for your kind words! It totally does not offend me when you comment about me looking old enough to be my mom before, I am astounded looking at the pictures myself!! I don't quite feel as thin as I look in the current pic, and NEVER felt as heavy or old as I look in my pre-op pic :)

Congratulations! You are such an inspiration. I am just 7wks out and down 40lbs. Curious as to what you eat. I am getting bored with the same thing everyday almost. Egg in the am, turkey breast at lunch and chicken for dinner. What all do you eat now at 4mths, how much exercise do you get? Just curious I want to have similar results :)

I still do a protein shake almost every day. I cook regularly for my family, then just pick out the protein for my meal along with some veg. I love chicken, fish, and steak and put up with some hamburger. For lunch I often have cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, turkey "roll ups" with cheese and avocado, or leftover grilled chicken breast (my kids love grilled chicken so we have it once a week and I make extra to keep in the fridge). Early on I did get bored with my meals, but I think I'm getting a bit more creative (especially thanks to inspiration from Frisco and other OH'ers).

For my exercise I'm still walking/jogging three to four times a week. I just set up some appointments with a trainer to get going on some more high intensity workouts and weights.

I think you are doing an amazing job! I am nearly six months out, but I checked my stats and at 7 weeks I was only down 32 lbs. from surgery date, 50 lbs. down total including pre-op liquid diet. I'm 5'7" and listed my high weight at 296, but I think I was a bit over 300 at one point when I didn't have a scale.

Keep going, I promise that eating gets better after a few months!

Thank you! I forgot about cottage cheese. I'm going shopping tomorrow and will need to pick some up. Plus I'm just starting an exercise routine, I'm sure that will help as well. I'm just bored with eating the same over and over. Thanks for the inspiration!!
