Sence I lost I don't have to

I don't have to wonder if someone's chair will hold me or if I will even fit in it when visiting friends.

I don't have to wonder what other people are thinking when they see me put chips in my grocery cart...even tho they were never for me.

I don't have to make sure a large car has a running board so I can heave myself into it.

I don't have to worry that my sweater is caught over the top of my very large bubble butt because I no longer have one.

I don't have to spend hours searching for a size 46 DDD bra because I now can fit into a 38 DDD comfortabley.

I don't have to worry what people are thinking when I eat dinner with my husband in a restraunt because my plate is usually a childs plate or a senior plate and there is almost as much food on it when I am done as there was when I got the plate.

I don't have to avoid events where I might run into people who knew me when I was thin, embarrassed to be seen fat.

I don't have to live in fear that my friends will post a pic of me & tag it on Facebook.

I don't have to wear tennis shoes everywhere and limp anymore due to painful heel spurs.

I don't have to buy men's jeans anymore, or men's leathers (riding gear).

It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not.

Great post and great job you are doing!

Here's mine...

I don't have to take a crap load of prescription meds.
I don't have to wear long shirts to hide my enormous butt...(love to show it now. LOL)
I don't have to wear orthotics in my shoes.
I don't have to wear hideous looking shoes that were comfy since my feet hurt all the time.
I don't have to worry about shirts riding up and showing my belly...(since I don't have one now)
I don't feel so self conscious anymore.
I don't have to hide from the camera and video cameras.
I don't have to stay home all the time because I'm so exhausted...(so much energy now)
I don't go to bed early or sleep 12 hours a night anymore.
I don't have to carefully squeeze by people when walking through crowds or getting to a seat.
I don't get winded doing just normal everyday tasks.
I don't leave my house a mess, just because cleaning it was too hard. (now cleaning is easy)
I don't have to watch TV for hours on end.... (I get bored and have to do something now)
I don't have to skip doing things just because it didn't seem worth the effort when I was big.

Man, you are doing great!!

Here's a few of mine:

I don't have to grab the cuff of my jeans to hike my leg up to put my socks on!
I don't have to contort to wipe my butt anymore, everything fits (sorry if TMI, but you know it's true!)
I don't need to look for seats with no arms..
I don't need to sneak around the squeaky spots of my hardwood floors, they no longer complain when I walk on them!! Geeze this was annoying in the middle of the night *squeak, squeaky, creak..*
I don't need to constantly rest my upper body on counters, carts, etc while standing, my back is ok.
No more bra extenders!
I don't need to scootch down my socks anymore, they actually fit my calves.

In addition to all the other great responses, my most important "Since I lost I don't have to" is

Hide from the camera.  Being in pictures with my kids, friends or family is the most telling of my confidence and appearance.

These posts are all wondeful! And I cannot wait to get my sleeve to join you all!! I can relate to just about all of your posts but there was one I did not see that I am totally looking forward to and that is RIDING A HORSE AGAIN!! I won't be too heavy for the horse and I won't feel like a big blob on one and my back will not be screaming in pain when I get off the horse. Can't wait!
My other thing is I love to go to New York City. It is only 1 hour from where I live. The restaurants in NYC cram their tables so very close together and it's a tight squeeze for my butt and body. I won't miss it!!

Congrats to everyone for their losses in weight and other things :)

I don't have to have my hubby tie my shoes anymore because I can do it myself
I don't have to nearly die when walking up a flight of stairs
I don't have to worry whether I will fit into the Disneyland ride and be able to put the bar down
I don't have to worry whether or not the car seatbelts will go over my belly
I don't to sleep with a pillow propping me up behind and on the sides
I don't have to wear my sleep apnea mask anymore
I don't have to feel like I am being stared at for being huge and taking up too much space
I don't have to ask for a seat belt extender on a flight

:) Thank goodness I don't have to do those anymore
