i. went. SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i started this journey in a size 24/26 pants on Sept. 1st.  After surgery I bought 22's and 20's.  And today, I fit my formerly chunkier butt into an 18.  Even as I type it I'm in disbelief.  I bought an 18 pair of jeans and an 18 pair of dress pants.  My top size was usually a 2x or 3x (my arms are herrendous) and i bought a 0x and a 1x today also.  I REALLY wanted to buy a sweater dress but it didn't look right on my ridiculously large legs so I figure I'll wait until January to try that out with some tights and Uggs. :)

7 weeks and 2 days later, I truly am LOVING my sleeve, my surgeon, and my new life.  So thankful.

Isn't it great to love shopping?  For years I didn't buy anything except for out of a catalog.  Going to a store and trying stuff on was something out of a nightmare.  Now I love going clothes shopping!

BTW, I finally got a pair of Uggs!  LOVE them!!  I like them with my jeans tucked in.  I didn't get any before because I didn't have any jeans.

Congratulations and enjoy the shopping!!

it's an amazing feeling to have a much different set of choices.  by the way, what is below 0X for shirts?  i think that's the lowest plus size, lol.  i guess just regular Large?  questions i never thought i would have to ask!

regarding the uggs, i have had the mini ones forever but can't wait until i can buy the classic short ones once my calves shrink a little more. lol

I've never heard of size 0X before.  I've seen S, M, L, XL, 2X...

However, Spanx does something weird.  They have both XL and 1X sizes (the XL being smaller than the 1X).  To me, XL is a 1X.  That's how it's done almost everywhere.  But for some reason, Spanx does that.  I mean, there is only ONE X in XL, then the next size up would be XXL (or 2X).

Way to go and CONGRATULATIONS! I have been so fearful of going shopping for some odd reason but it is so time! Even my "thin" clothes aren't fitting anymore so I do need to at least buy one or two tops and one or two pair of pants.

I love my sleeve and am thankful as well. Keep up the good work!
