Thats awesome! I just wanted to see what is the average or normal I wonder if everyone who has just had surgery has in the back of there mind that what if it doesn't work for me is this common?

I lost 25.8# in the first month. I think that I noticed that the average is somewhere in the 20# range.

Don't let the "average" fool you - I lost only 12.

Edit to add - However I also lost 14 lbs during the two week pre-op liquid diet.

Everyone is different I have lost 37 lbs in 3 weeks but i weighed 433 at surgery

Yes that's a normal scare, I'm 3 1/2 months out and always looking for the week when I stop losing

VSG on 11/08/11

Only 2 weeks out but lost 8. Pre-op diet two weeks prior lost 11.
So 19 all together if counting pre-op.
I'm a lightweight if that helps.
