Ok, so I'm delighted to be more than 100 lbs down (60 presugery and 50 postsurgery) in the past year. Don't get me wrong... I am happy. But some of the changes have been, let's say, less than thrilling and this morning I noticed the latest.
Looking in the mirror nude, I realized my nipples are now exactly in line with my belly button.... oh dear....
Thank goodness for good bras eh?

Yes and no on the NSV.  Yes, it iS a positive sign of weight loss, but it also shows stretched and sagging skin.

I had 15 pounds of it removed from my belly.

Yes, I expect some time down the road I'll have to look into that. Probably can't afford much but sometimes the medical system will pay to have the pannie removed at least, so that would be a help. Otherwise it's good foundation garments...lol.

Just think, it would have happened anyway with time and age. Everything goes south eventually! I am so short and round that when I sit, my apron is on my thighs, boobs definitely belly button level...and I haven't had surgery yet! Oh joy!

Well, yes... age is certainly a part of it. I knew a year ago that at age 56 and weighing 351 lbs and have been large all my adult life that my skin must have definitely stretched past the point of no return.
Likely I won't be able to afford much (if any) reconstruction but as kinda gross as my saggy, baggy bits are, I wouldn't trade them with the smooth plump look I had a year ago. Gravity is not my friend, granted, but I have so much more energy, feel so much better, I will just learn to love all these bits going ever southward. I guess unless my nipple actually start dragging on the ground (ouch), I can deal with it. Pretty soon I expect to be able to roll them up like socks and fit them into much smaller and prettier bras!
