So for the first time my fever is down.  I am just feeling really sick like a have the flu  I am pretty sure I won't be let go today to go home... LOTS of gas coming out the back end and really bad diarrhea, so I am being forced to wear a diaper!  UGG!  I really need this to get better!

I hope you get well soon!  They gotta make sure you can keep fluids in (both ends) before you can go home.  Hang in there!

I'm so glad your fever is down.

Did they try a stopper? (kidding ... just kidding)

I hope you feel way better very soon.

I, too, had to stay in the hospital for an extra day or two after my surgery because my fever wasn't coming down quickly enough. I didn't have any kind of infection or major issues, just the fever that wanted to hang on for some reason. Gas is normal (unpleasant, but normal!). Diarrhea is also pretty normal...liquids in = liquids out! Are they at least giving you something to try to help with the diarrhea?

Nope, they didn't want to give me anything for it, they just wanted it to run its course.  It lasted about 36 hours and went away thank god!
