United Health Care apporve on VSG?

Not sure what state you are in, but GA is discontinuing coverage at the end of the year. So, if you've met requirements, I encourage you to pursue it beginning tomorrow and you'll need to be scheduled for surgery by Dec. 31 for insurance to pay.....

Just thought I'd throw out my experiances, as they seem to be different from the others.

I have United Health Care and had to do 6 months supervised weight loss. With scheduling this and that, and getting the official approval... I had VSG about 9 months after my initial consultation with the surgeon.

VSG on 02/14/12

I'm getting the surgery in NC but I get my insurance out of GA. I will call them tomorrow. When I called to see who we're my providers in NC and the requirements they didn't say anything about stopping coverage. Do you know where I can get this information?
