Devastated only lost 1 pound in almost 2 weeks!
I lost 10 lbs in the first 2 weeks post surgery and now have only lost 1 pond in almost 2 weeks. Im eating between 800 to 1000 calories per day and exercising and no loss at all. I have no energy and feel so depressed! I did the surgery for fast but also long term weight loss but I would have lost more weight on a regular pre surgery diet.
So depressed!
So depressed!
The month after surgery is really hard, physically and emotionally. It seems like you are in a stall - many people will tell you about it. Be gentle with yourself. Your body has been assaulted and is healing. I didn't have any energy either, and actually fell asleep at my desk at the end of a couple of difficult days. Let your body do its job and you focus on eating right and healing.
You will do better with surgery than a regular diet over the long term - this is a demonstrated, scientific fact. You cannot control what you weigh, trust that the weight will come off as your body is ready to let it go.
You may be feeling some post-surgery blues. Devastated is a pretty big feeling. Do what you can to keep your spirits positive. People who focus on the positive about this process have an easier time of it, and are more successful.
What you are experiencing is pretty normal. It's often referred to as the three week stall or the week three stall. Your body has just gone through major surgery and needs time to heal. It will all be ok and you'll lose the weight, but you have to be patient sometimes. Easier said than done, I know.
If you can, read back through old posts and you'll see lots of examples of this. Just stick to your plan.

800-1000 is kind of a lot. At my 10 day, my doc had me dial back to two Isopures from three or 360 cals. Also, I think most people are at nearly all protein at this stage. I would look at what you are taking in. The more protein, the less water you retain and the more fat you burn. But only if you are drinking water - at least 64 oz at your stage. Hang in there, sometimes you just need to adjust the dials a bit.
just ending my 3 week stall. I was doing good and then bam! Finally 3 days ago the scale started moving again. Trust me it will happen.
I personally think one of the reasons for my stall was going from all liquid to puree. That was my bodies chance to grab ahold of food. It is a waiting game. You have to wait it out and win.
What put my mind at ease was testing on ketostix to make sure was still in ketosis. As long as I was I know I was winning.

I am right there with you honey. I lost 12-14 pounds that first week, and not a drop since. I averaged 300-400 calories for the first 10 days and hit the protein 40 gram target. I am now at 500-600 calories and hitting 82 grams of protein. Still nothing. On the other hand, I had read so many posts about a stall early out that I was expecting it, just not quite so soon. I am ok with it though. Right now I am celebrating that my eating habits are the best they have been in decades, that the sleeve is clearly helping me to consume less calories, and that my overating tendencies have switched over to eating for nutrition. For me, my biggest goal for the first 6 weeks is to stay on plan and work extremely hard at fixing the emotional eating.
With that said, I am about to go cook and egg and vegetarian sausage to puree and I am pretty darn excited abou it!
