Frisco,
There is a winery called Vincent Arroyo in Napa, that I bought a bottle of Cabernet Sav Baslamic Vinegar from when I was there last year. It's a thick , kind of  vinegar reduction with a uniqie flavor.
I use it in place of a brown surgar reduction etc.
I uses it on my salads in place of dressings.
I also use it as a drizzle over the beef/gargonzola dishes

It would be the finishing touch on this dish.

I cant wait until your cook book comes out.

Balsamic Vinegars.....Something that I didn't realize was such a vast array of tastes, flavors and quality levels.... I was amazed to see 20-30-40-50 dollar bottles and I'm sure it can go much higher...

Olive oils are the same.... Rice Vinegars.....Cheeses....

I know I gotta step up my game on some of those tastes and flavors....

the sad part is I am more tempted by the photo quality than the food. I want his camera first! Then his meat!...that came out wrong

I have to back log for what camera Frisco uses for personal pics. Most likely I cannot afford. Hate to hijack thread, but Frisco, thoughts on Nikon D5100? Or other SLRs under 1K?

Sorry....don't really know much about Cameras....just the ones I use.....I have a deal with Canon and use the 5D and the 1DsMklll. I also have Hasselblad H1/Leaf Aptus for higher end work......

But.....it ain't really the camera....the camera is just a recording device....there all pretty good.....

Set the scene.....put light on it.....record it......

Here is one with my iPhone Camera......
