Yeah, I know, I should know this...but hairloss....
It's starting to freak me out a bit now, I have super think hair and it grows ridiculously fast but since about three months out from surgery my hair has stopped growing and is falling out in clumps, to the point now that I am noticing how thin it has become and I am not noticing any new growth.
Tell me it will stop and grow back, I just need to hear it so I can stop worrying about it LOL

I have baby fine hair, and it's always been thin. I noticed hairloss around 10 weeks and when I mentioned it at my 3 month f/u my surgeon says it will get worse between 4-6 months and then it will get better. He is right about it getting worse, so let's hope he's right about it getting better!
I have noticed my hair thinning but today after my workout I looked in the mirror and I don't know how any one could have missed the fact that my hair is thinning badly! I think I'll bring a beanie cap to wear after my workouts. I can fake thickness with a few products at the roots, but when I'm sweaty and gross, my hair just shows more scalp than I care to admit!
Just keep your protein and vitamins up and know it will get better!!!

I'm one of the people who started out with long, thick hair and thought it would be nice to lose *some*.
Uh yeah - I take it back. The hair loss can stop any time.
Mine started right after surgery (acutally a couple of days before surgery because I had to go off my hormone med) and hasn't let up yet. It feels dry and yuck and I only wa**** every 2-3 days.
I'm actually getting it cut off this weekend because I'm sick of digging wads of long hair out of the shower drain every day.

I like my hair, too! I have never heard of *anyone* going bald, and from everything I've been told, the hair comes back. I am 4+ months out, and while I am definitely shedding more than before, I'm not losing noticable amounts.
I wouldn't be thrilled to lose my hair, but I *love* what the surgery has done for me!!
I wouldn't let hair loss be the thing that changes your mind.
Look, I mistreated my body for the last 20 years. I consider the hair loss to be my tything toward being at a healthy weight and just being overall healthy.
I don't like the hair loss. I'll probably ***** about it again given the chance.
The doc said that it grows back and many vets have confirmed this. Unless you are predisposed to hair loss, it will grow back.
It's different for different people. My Sleeve friend hardly lost any hair and her hair was thin to start out.
It's temporary.
