10 month update with pics

When I picked my goal of 140, I hadn't even looked at the BMI Chart to notice that it was still "overweight". Once I got to 140, Dr. D. said I should not try to lose too much more, maybe 5-10 lbs. That was a first, a doctor telling me NOT to lose weight! LOL But, I really wanted to be in the "normal" range, so I lost a few more. It's still the high end of the range. I think I could go as low as 130, maybe 128 and not look too bad. Much less than that and I think I would look sickly. I notice it more in pics than in the mirror. I thought I'd have more to lose because of the belly, but the doctor said most of that would go away with a lower body lift...would love to do that, but I'm getting new boobs first! I've always had a belly, so I'm used to that...but I've never been without boobs before...I miss them! Clothes just don't fit right now. I went from a D cup to being unable to fill a B cup. When do you see Dr. D. again? He will let you know when you've lost enough.

I won't see Dr. D until March 14th, for my 1 year follow up appointment.  Surprising my breasts are still "D".  I kinda of spill out of that size , lol.  I keep expecting to lose more there and when I got my new bras from VS for Christmas I got D cups--I kinda of wish I had gotten DD but I have a feeling the last pounds will come out of my chest!  I think if I could afford plastics I would go with arms and/or stomach--though my stomach does not bother me as much as I thought it would. 

I am planning on going to the meeting next Tuesday.  I have not been since October.  I missed Nov. & Dec., so I really want to go.  I promised Melissa a dress and I have not seen her since a week before she had surgery and she is about 3 months out.  I really hope she is there!  Did you go to December's meeting?

Lucky you haven't lost all yours yet!  I was hoping to get away with a lift, but there won't be enough left when he's done.  I'd at least like to have back what I started with.  Only 6 more weeks till I get it done!  I took a 401k loan to pay for it.  I'll probably make more money paying myself interest than it's earning anyway!

I haven't been to the support group since the last time I saw you there...between vacations, holidays, issues with the kids and appointments I've had on Tuesdays I sometimes forget about it until it's too late.  I may try to go this month.  I won't be able to go next month because it's right after my surgery.

I used my 401k to pay for VSG!  Nothing left--plus I just started going back to school at University of Florida to get my doctoral degree---a semester costs as much as a tummy tuck! Choices, choices. . .education or tummy tuck!  Education won out, lol. I might regret that in a couple of months!  I just wish insurance would pay for it! 

You're way more ambitious than I am...tummy tuck would have won that one!
