My condolences to you and your family. Dec 25 I also had a death in the family.

Hi Lucy, I am so sorry to hear about your Aunt.
I am happy however that you were able to visit with your extended family and they got to see you and your awesome progress!
Congratulations on your NSV's... all of them are tremendous strides and I am so happy for you!

Thanks so much London! It was a very sad time - but at the same time wonderful with my family. Everyone enjoyed sharing their favorite memories and stories about my aunt and it really became a great party.

The NSV's made it even better!

Congrats on your NSV's! That is awesome.

I had to laugh about the Irish family thing. I assume you will understand when I say we have more fun at Irish funerals than we do at the Irish weddings. People are still alive at weddings, but at a funeral that's the last chance to 'visit' the person so EVERYONE shows up. Most people don't understand that, until they experience a true Irish Wake.

I'm with you on that! All the best stories that no one would ever share before come out at the wake - it starts with some tears but ends with tears of laughter. Nothing better than an Irish send off with a parting glass (mine was a glass of water...)
