You look great! cardio is important also... But if you like the double barrels rock em out tell everyone else stop hating on them . I would pick one up at a time and say dont be jealous of smith .... And wesson...

oh yeah he is loving the new me. my fredericks of hollywood just came in yesterday...lol. I still cant fit Victoria Secret Bras . Also I started my pole dancing lessons last week. that is also another workout. great for upper body. It is way harder than it looks. Everything hurt when I left that class.
Hubby has been eating the way I have been and he is down 76 lbs. He is now working out too. trying to keep up with me. I guess he may feel a bit threatened and felt he need to step his game up too. even though it's for his own good anyway

thanks everybody. for weight loss I follow what I learned right here on this site.(everyone here is so great) I have a daily allowance of
70 grams minimum of protein
15 grams of sugar
15 grams of fat
40 grams of carbs
the sugar, fat and carbs I do not go above that. as far as toning. I used to follow the low weight high reps that you always hear and I got nowhere with that. I think that must be for people already in good shape. or maybe my definition of low weights is different.
I used to use the cutesy 3 and 5 lbs and saw/felt nothing with that. Depending on what muscle group I am working out, i can use anywhere from 20-30lb dumbbells. free weights are the best for toning. I use the 25-30lbs when working my back muscles. I curl with the 20's. that's in each hand. Prior to that I started with 10-15 lbs. once it starts to feel too easy I increase the weight. Since i have no trainer and I am pretty much winging it, I use magazines and youtube (to show me how to do the exercise.
I get my vitamins at Vitamin shoppe so they have these free magazines called Muscle and Performance and once you get a card, you get a subscription or you can read it online

I started working out as soon as I was able to. I was so afraid of the "batwings" I might have overdid it. you have to be diligent and make it a priority. dont be afraid to put all your efforts into it. I know sometimes we have a guilt about changing who we are and dont want to come across vain but so what. this i what we all are here for, to invest in our health
