Hello everyone, I read somewhere about where you can test how big or small your stomach is by doing a cottage cheese test. Does anyone on here know about this? If so, p[lease share. Thanks.

wow Mike yer super early out to be worried about restriction!  The CCT and the 5DPT are great tools to check our  "ETA: thanks Trip...OUR SLEEVE's CAPACITY" and OUR  RESTRICTION!

If doin this...FIRST THING IN THE MORNING! nothin before ... It will be yer breakfast....At yer stage ya just may need a level Tablespoon ONLY to eat outta the container! ...... just keep track how many TBS you eat! 2TBS=1oz.

but here's how I do mine..(3yrs out).

You'll need
container of small curd cottage cheese
1 Tablespoon measuring spoon

put 1 level cup (8oz) in a bowl...
eat quickly (needs to be less than 5 minutes)
eat to SATIETY!   not full and not hungry!

IF after 8 oz....yer still NOT SATED...

use the measured TABLESPOON to go into the cottage cheese container and eat till sated.
2 TBS=1oz....ya tally up those oz.  and that's YOUR sleeve's capacity.

(link below to OFFICIAL COTTAGE CHEESE TEST on my Bougies in VSG blog...scroll down to the bottom)

Also after yer about 6 months out...I HIGHLY reccommend a 5DPT...(link on my Stalls and Plateaus blog)....5 DAYS OF CARB DETOX! ......IF carbs are becomin problematic...feel like you can eat a helluva lot more (which is natural as your sleeve matures anyway RIGHT!!)  and so worried about yer restirction...ya wanna get that RESTRICTION feelng again...the 5 DPT is one helluva way to CHECK IT...GET IT BACK,  and CARB DETOX go into ketosis...all at the same time! You'll find out yer RESTRICTION is in FULL FORCE and NEVER LEFT YA!

here's that link to CCT in the volume capacity section (I think!) towards the bottom!

Caveat tho....don't overdo it   lmao!!

Thanks for the information. I was just curious at this point what this test was for, now I know. This forum is great, I learn so much stuff on here.

Would not work for me, Cottage Cheese is a total slider for me, can eat a gallon of it if I set my mind too it and I know for sure that my stomach can't hold THAT much.

So I could see this being totally useless for many.

I am not knocking it, I am just saying that it could be useless for those of us who find that cottage cheese goes right though the stomach (like me). It would NOT work for ME b/c I could literally eat cottage cheese all day and feel no restriction (and I am sure I am not the only one).

I think a BETTER way to see if you have good restriction is with dense proteins, since that is what most people feel restriction with.
