Hi OH Fam,
I have my surgeon consultation tomorrow and I am meeting him  personally for the first time. I want to be well prepared to ask the neccessary questions. Could you please share with me the questions that you asked or you think you should have asked looking back. Thank you and your responses will be appreciated! Happy Tuesday!

I am looking forward to your responses!

hi!  not an exhaustive list, but you might ask him:

1) how many vsgs he's done and how comfortable he feels with the surgery;

2) how strict the program is with rules about things like food -- whether it has an organized support/NUT plan (you might already know this)

3) how long you'll be in the hospital;

4) what his process is (like does he use drains -- my doc didn't)

probably people with have tons more . . .   good luck!!!  don't worry, i'm sure the doc will be more than happy to answer anything you ask!
