Hey Donna! You look awesome! Quick question, are you planning to go back to Dr. O and have a barium swallow to make sure everything is good in the sleeve?? I am taking my sister for a consult for VSG on the 17th. She is a lightweight but has tried every diet in the book...She needs to lose a good 55-60 lbs. I think I may try to get a plastics consult too just so I can see how much $$ I will need to start saving. Congrats!

Angela, I am scheduled to take my daughter to Dr. O on March 5th for VSG surgery. I have an appt for pT consult then. I had a local endoscopy just last week. Everything looks good and I feel great so no leak test planned.

      Your post couldn't have come at a better time....I am just about your age and starting weight, so I can relate to your story.  I just hope I do as well as you!  I go for my sleeve surgery tomorrow morning at 6am.  Your photos have sure uplifted me!

Maggie, it's a cake walk after surgery.

Let yourself heal first.

Then just stick to the plan as much as you can.

When you get close to goal...it's war but it's easier than before surgery.
