Whatcha eating today VSGers? Tuesday
Hi folks! I hope everyone is doing well today. I have to post a little rant because it's really frustrating me. There seem to be lots of newbies on the board lately (Welcome!!) and some of them are posting as if the weight should just fall off magically. As if they want to lose it overnight and some how wake up and it's all gone. So much of this is about the journey and learning new habits along the way and no longer making excuses. I mean, we're not perfect and no one says we should be. But the more slip ups and excuses and poor choices we make, could mean not losing all the weight or gaining some back in the long run. So, I just wanted to say: IT'S NOT A SPRINT, IT'S A MARATHON. TRY TO ENJOY THE SCENERY ALONG THE WAY!
OK, end rant. Back to the business at hand...
B: protein shake
S: coffee with skim milk, 1 T peanut butter
L: the guts of a 1/2 grilled chicken wrap, 7 grapes, one small piece pineapple
D: chicken
S: not sure
water: 40 oz done, 24 to go
vitamins: done
exercise: set up a room for a conference

S: a skinny latte and 6 almonds
L: half a Quest Chocolate Brownie Bar
D: maybe an ounce of steak w/an ounce of veg
I tried to do a sautee w/onion, red pepper, zucchini and thin sliced rib eye for dinner, but I guess I overcooked the meat...couldn't manage to eat hardly any. :( Need more protein still.
