Frisco-Cooking With My Nephew
My Nephew/Godson.......(White Boy......Son of my best friend since kindergarten)
Came over last night wanting to cook up some grub.......
So he stopped at an Asian Market on the way over and picked up some stuff......so between that and stuff I had in the fridge we did some Culinary Experiments on some great tastes and flavors.......
He showed me some stuff he has learned from having a Korean GF........and we mixed it up pretty good!
He was eating low carb and didn't even know it !!!!
Here are two of about 5 things we made......
I had him cook and plate the food for the pics..... (he is a photo school grad)
So.... Great fun Cooking, Eating, Shooting Pics, Music Bumpin! .....he wants to do it again.....and buy a few things so he can entertain the ladies in SoCal !!!

Thin sliced Beef Rib Eye Roll Ups......Asparagus, Enoki Mushroom, Portabello Mushroom and Spinach were all blanched in chicken stock first....cooled....rolled up with the beef...toothpicked.......dipped in Ponzu.....Electric Grill Panned.....salt, pepper......couple minutes each......good eatin......

This is a pretty Classic Korean Dish.....
Grilled Pork, Spicey Miso Paste, Kim Chee on Lettuce.......Awesome!

Ponzu is basically Soy Sauce with a Citrus.....The most common being Lemon than Lime.
I prefer Lemon in most cases.....
