another year older, but not the same old same old
Happy birthday to you too Debbie!!! It really is amazing how life changing one year can be. I too wondered last year where I'd be today. I am also not always a patient person, though I've learned I have to be, so once I made up my mind to have WLS, I wanted all of the changes yesterday. LOL But, this last year sped by, and the changes have come day to day. Some changes are big and some little, but all wonderful, just the same. Good for you for making the decision to end this visciuos cycle. I will look forward to reading your post a year from today. My guess is you will have lots of things to celebrate too! Good luck!

Thanks Becky! I am living life now. Like many of us here, my only regret is that these wonderful changes had happened a lot sooner in my life. But, that's water under the bridge now, and I am grateful that I was one of the lucky ones to be given this second chance.
