Dr Herron?

I just wanted to do a quick post to see if anyone here had there surgery done by Dr herron at Mount Sinai Hospital.He is going to be my surgeon and i love him and that fact that he is very knowledgeable about his business and he doesn't makes me feel like a fatty, if that makes any sense.I was suppose to have surgery back in 09 and i back out cause i was too scared but im back and i still choose him and he didnt make me feel weird about backing out.Any feed back would be greatly apprecaited,T.I.A

I agree with specialone 100%... pray about it. I have doubts all the time and think I think of what could happen if I keep going on this yoyo ride with my weight...I'm sure everyone goes through a doubtful stage more than once..but if you feel confident about your surgeon and have done the research you should be just fine..you've come too far to turn back now..if all goes well for me I'm going to be joining both of you on the healthy and sexy losers bench

I agree with the other ladies. You chose him twice for a reason. Have you read the reviews on him here? Have you checked your states medical board? If not these may be things you want to do, just to help ease your mind, but it sounds like you know you have picked the perfect surgeon for you. I'm sure things will be fine. Good Luck!

 Hi  I am actually having my surgery with Dr. Kini because Dr. Herron doesn't participate with my insurance and just like yourself I started the venture back in 09 and backed out. One day I got on a scale, and the next day I booked all necessary appointments for the surgery and this was December 2011.  Dr. Kini never made me feel bad. He said he rather me do it when I felt right then ever doubtful. I love the Mount Sinai office. Maybe not the staff as much as I would like but Rashida is great

I know its been a  couple days since i responded but i just wanted to thank everyone for there responses,I just moved last week so i don't have Internet access yet.So i can only post when I'm at work.Hopefully when i get the Internet on Thursday i can post more frequently.
