long time no see-update!
hey there OH family. school and work and just life in general has taken me for a ride. between nursing courses and working full time i can barely breathe. i wish i had more time on here. i defintely need to take some "after" progress pictures, its been 2 or 3 months since i did so. wednesday makes my 6 months postop. and ive lost 102 pounds!!!! im still in a size 22 pants though. funny how the body works. i started at 341 and now im 239. i was in a size 30 pants. i would think id be in a smaller size pants by now. its weird cuz im in xl shirts and my upper body is gettin tiny. i carry most of my weight on my stomach and my hips are wide so i guess itll take awhile to get into smaller pants. but im happy and healthy, cant complain. i can feel my body changing, its gettin so small and its a funny feeling, but one that i love! also, i left my ex. time for a new chapter in my life. no, leavin him had nothing to do w/ my surgery. there were problems wayy before that. but now that im happy and healthy, i have the confidence and stregnth to stand up for myself and demand better. hope everyone is doing great, and ill do pictures soon!

Thanks for the update! I remember reading about you a little while back! Its awesome that you have lost so much weight. I am hoping for 100 lbs in 6 months. I am 12 days post op and have only lost 8 lbs :(
Wow, you are doing great!
I could not have worked full time and also have made it through my BSN program - so you should be very proud of yourself for it!
My lower half is also shrinking slower than my upper half. I'm just hoping it will all balance out in the end. I think you are just hitting the weight range where you go down in sizes faster for smaller amounts of weight lost, if that makes sense.

You are doing great!. When I was 240 I was wearing size 20 Old Navy Jeans. Trust that your sizes will really start to drop the closer you are to 200 pounds and below! It will happen : )

Hey you, thanks for the update.
Yeah I'm around 235-240 pounds right now and I'm a size 20, i know if i didn't have a big gut i would probably be an 18. Damn our big bellies lol.
Good luck with school and work, I can't imagine doing that I would go crazy from being overworked/schooled, lol. You rock!
