STAYING THE SAME?
Hi,
Hope I find everyone on here well and happy.
I have a question. I have been staying 150 lbs since about Thanksgiving. My goal was 130 but I think I would be happy at 135-140. I am not losing now. Does your body stop losing on it's own? Do I just have to buckle down and try harder? Take any advice. Thank you.
God Bless

Yep, I stopped losing at about 9 months out. I have managed to get about 3 more pounds off but my weight has completely stabilized. I am at the high end of the BMI range but I am within normal. I am 5'2 and weigh 133. I am also 46 years old. I know I should be happy with this but I still would like to get down maybe 8 more pounds. Good luck to you!
I have to disagree with Elina. The only way that I break a stall is to exercise HARD. Things such as jogging, interval sprints, weights with cardio, etc.
If your body is not used to exercising you will see a difference on the scale in 1-3 days.
Exercise is so, so, important during weightloss AND maintenance.
I have 25 more to lose and it gets tougher, I know.
But step up the exercise, eat less than 800 cals and under 40 carbs and you will see a loss!

The scale really moved slow for me from New years until last week when after being on vacation I lost 9 pounds! It felt so good finally to see that and what I was doing during vacation was eating
fruits, and fish very few veggies most had sauces all over but I guess from eating more instead of less it helped.
