Bathtub NSV!!!

The last time I used my jetted tub was a few years ago.  When I got in, not only did I dsplace most of the water, I barely had the strength to lift myself back out.  So it has been the shower for me every since.  I was feeling a little achy this evening, and was thinking it sure would be nice to get in a hot bath.  Then I remembered that was one of the things on my list of things I wanted to do after I lost weight.
This is an oversize tub and I used to touch on both sides.  So much so that the water at the back was cut off from the water at the front.  It's funny how you don't feel small until you do a comparison of something you used to do.
Well, I filled that tub with some nice ho****er, turned it on and got in.  I could put three of me in there side by side now!!  It was shocking.  Still adjusting to the reality of no longer being obese.

That is awesome. That is one of the things I am looking forward to doing myself after surgery. Thanks for posting this wonderful nsv.

Way to go!  I want an oversize bath that I can slide around in.

Good for you!!!  I posted a few weeks ago about taking a bath.  What a luxury that I had missed.  I think I stayed in the tub, adding ho****er periodically, for 45 minutes or an hour, I was haing such a good time!  It's the little things that make such a big difference.

CONGRATS!! I remember the first time I experienced this after weight loss. I ALWAYS loved taking baths and even at my biggest would take them but hated how I was bigger than the water- how my huge stomach would stick out of the water never really being able to enjoy the tub.

One night a few months ago I was feeling blue- home lonely on a Friday night- so I decided to light some candles play some music and ran a bath-I wasn't even thinking about how it was going to be different. When I got in I couldn't believe how much water there was- so much so I had to let some out because it was way to deep! I was so happy and felt so "normal" it was such an  amazing feeling. I love taking baths and anytime I feel a little blue I have my bath routine and it always makes me feel better. I bought myself a bunch of nice bath salts and fizzy balls.

Oh you are speaking my language with the tub! We are redoing our bathroom and I'm taking a chance and getting the straight tub rather than the oversized corner version. I am so ready for the tum to be under the water instead of a large bouy above! I can completely relate to your stories and look forward to the same success you all have acheived.
