For those of you that hate taking pills 4 times a day and want a much better/easier solution this is what I use. 1 drink in the morning and thats it.

If you don't mind me asking... how are your labs coming back? I would love to reduce some of the pill popping :)

Glad it's working for you - that stuff made me toss my cookies!

I've gotten weird post sleeve - super sensitive to all vitamins - even capsules. Real pain!

No biggy - just have a picky system that hates vitamins. I do the kids chewables since the bariatric chewables also come back...

Have to sorta agree with Lucy!! I tried the nutrametrix multi and calcium during pre-op and for the first month after surgery and couldn't handle the taste at all!! The berry flavoring was costly. Because I couldn't handle the taste it would take me 45 minutes to drink it every morning which was CRAZY in the morning trying to race out the door with the kids for school.

I'm taking the Bariatric Advantage multi, calcium chews (LOVE THESE! They taste like starburst candy and you get SIX every day!! YUM!) and the chewable iron and B-12 and it takes seconds a day now to get it all down...so much easier for me then the nutrametrix was in the beginning!!!

Its funny because for the first week I coudlnt stand the taste but because I didnt wanna waste money I just stuck it out and now I dont ind the taste at all. I think I will stick with these vitamins for a while. I love them!

Taste is important for sure .. if your not gonna drink it then its not doing you any good.

The main point I was hoping people would pick up from the video that I linked however was that with pills not everything is absorbed which is not so much the case with Isotonix.

Unfortunately, sometimes the nutraMetrix vitamins are absorbed so fast that they can make the patient feel a little "off"--this is not common, but a side effect of the vitamins. The isotonic solution allows for 95% absorption. When you swallow a pill or a chewable, the stomach valve shuts down for 45 minutes to 8 hours to allow the pill to be dissolved....some never do as seen in x-rays of the stomach and colon.
Even though you are taking a chewable or pill, you are getting about 30-35% absorption of the nutrients.
