Scale is toast

My scale has been very unreliable lately.  Can differ up to 8 pounds in the same weigh-in (hop on, hop off, hop back on).  And this morning it reached a breakin point... hopped on and it said 163.  Knew that wasn't right, so hopped off and hopped back on... said 153.  Did it a few more times and got all different readings.  Sooooooo, need a new scale and not sure what I weigh right now.  Bummer...

Any good scale recommendations??

I have the Health-O-Meter (I think) from Wal-Mart, pretty consistent (I get on a few times at each weigh in to make sure I get the same numbers too)

I have a Weight  Watchers scale that is very reliable, and wasn't that expensive either. It matches my Dr.s office perfectly. It's the home version of the one they use in the meetings.

I saw a fantastic looking (but expensive) one at Best Buy this week.  It syncs up with an i-Device, and has lots of cool features.  I really want one :)  I think it was called iScale or something.

Funny you're mentioning scales, I just opened my Salter doctor's scale. I've been using scales at friends' houses and decided against digital. The weights varied - weigh myself 5x in a row and get 3 or 4 different numbers - some off by 5 whole lbs! I was never sure what the real weight was.

Hoping I love this new scale as much as I do today (down 4 pre op lbs!)

Mine alway does that right before it needs a new battery.  As soon as I change it, it goes right back to normal. :)

I didn't even think about that... maybe I will buy a battery before I go invest in a whole new scale.  Seems like a good idea anyway!  Thanks!

I was about to suggest a battery first!!  Mine does that before battery change time too.
