Bowling

 Im 5 weeks post op.  I really miss going bowling with my daughter.  Do you think its too soon?  My incisions are healed and I dont feel it pulling anymore when I turn over in bed or twist or anything.  I do throw the heaviest ball though, 16 lbs.  I would feel weird calling the surgeon to ask him something like this LOL.

Honestly, though, I'm sure they get stranger questions. I would call. I'm still preop, but I can't imagine throwing around something that heavy, especially with only one arm, so soon after surgery. Maybe I'm way off base there though.

There's always granny shots

My coworkers and I have a running joke about me bowling... I get special accommodations, as if I had an IEP, because I suck that much!

You should be okay.. If you are worried I would ask..I love bowling, but last time I did it I blew out my left knee and had to have surgery..

 I was not aloud to lift anything over 10 lbs for 8 weeks (made it tough to handle my two year old!), so keeping that in mind, try it but be kind to yourself and if you feel funny at all just sit back and watch.

good now after surgery.. Really want to bowl again.. Haven't gotten there yet.
It was sad a I just had a new ball drilled and was trying it out.. 7th frame snap... Torn meniscus.... All fixed now though and 40 pounds lighter.... I WILL be going soon!!!
