Yogurt recommendations

I haven't investigated a lot of different yogurts. My doctor's office recommended Fage. I figure it's such a big plus for the amount of protein that in that portion size that I'd rather look at managing the carbs in other ways.
Are you getting flavored? Those are pretty high carb. Try plain with sugar free strawberry jam, blueberries, or stevia. I've heard on here of people putting crystal light, sugar free jello powder, or sugar free flavored syrups, in it, but haven't tried those. For me yogurt is kind of a slider so I only have it every now and then.
The absolute best yogurts are Plain NF Greek Yogurt by Fage or Chobani. They can't be beat for the amount of protein that they contain and the low carbs. Dannon doesn't have enough protein. Stay away from the flavored ones. They have too many carbs and sugar, and are lower in protein.
I also add some protein powder to the yogurt to increase the protein content even more. You can use the yogurt in your protein shakes for added protein and flavor. Just keep track of the calories, carbs, and protein.
Other good brands are: Oikos, Siggi, and Voskos.

I think I did my homework pretty well and couldn't find better yogurts than Chobani or Fage. I get the NF and it's 23 grams protein per cup and the lowest carbs I could find (don't remember off the top of my head....). I do a 1/2 cup serving with SF Torani Syrups. My favorite flavors are peach, orange, mango, raspberry and vanilla bean. The syrups add NO Calories and taste great!
