Me and that protein were having a battle and it FINALLY lost. I'm very proud of myself. Yesterday, I drank my very first protein shake! Unlike me just tasting them in the past, I was actually able to drink the entire thing!

It really does take some tweaking to make it pleasing for you. I had the Syntrax Chocolate Truffle sample pack. I mixed it with 8 oz of skim milk, 2 sugar substitute packets, ice, and the secret ingredient...1 tablespoon baking cocoa! It was pretty good! The baking cocoa only added 20 cal with no sugar or fat! I will say that in the future, I'll mix the cocoa with the milk first, in order to help it dissolve better. Then, I'll add the protein.

In addition to my new accomplishment, I've also began a 1500 calorie, low fat, low sugar, low carb diet. I want to lose about 40 pound before sugery. I'm actually eating, on average, 1200 cal per day. I'm also working out 5 days per week. Let me tell you, The Biggest Loser Challenge on the Wii is NO JOKE!!!!!! I'm down 6 pounds already since Monday!

I'm really excited and feeling great! Yayyy Me!

Wow! You are doing great! I will have to try that coco! I didn't really like the chocolate truffle but I will try that with it!

Thanks Amber! You should most definitely try it! Also, add 1 or 2 packets of sugar subsitute. I'm EXTREMELY picky about taste, and from me to you, it is pretty good!

good for you but don't mix the cocoa with the milk first. Mix the protein powder and the cocoa together first, very well and it will mix in the milk better that way

I'm 6 days till surgery and have been on a full liquid diet. I found another great way to do a protein shake. I mix 1 cup of diet v8 splash berry blend with about 1 cup of ice and 2 scoops of vanilla body fortress protein powder in the blenda. It taste wonderfull and has 52 grams of protein.

You know, I've been kinda curious about the Kinect. So, does it pick up on your total body movements and is it accurate? I'm thinking about buying it if so.
