I'm still kinda new here but I just went and looked at your before and after pics and I have to say I think you look much younger in the afters.  You look wonderful and you have done an amazing job I only hope to be as successful as you.  But I'm just an outsider looking in.  Oh and I might add that my mom lost about 80 or 85lbs on her own and her face slimmed way way down and she has some wrinkles she also just turned 50 and it bugs her I think shes beautiful just the way she is but my point is wrinkles happen with or without wls.

Honestly, I looked at your before and after body shots- you look younger now!  If she's the type to be hurtful and spiteful then you don't need that kind of friend.  If you think her concern was real and genuine then just bru**** off and don't say anything to her.  Good friends and honest friends are hard to come by.

My mom had lost weight and she's 55 years old- so when she lost 50 pounds her husband told her she looked old and he liked her better when she was overweight.  I was so upset, it made her so insecure that she gained the weight back and more- and she refused to try and lose it again for fear of looking old.  Finally I told her "Mom, you're gonna age no matter what....your face is gonna get wrinkles no matter what...at least keep your body young!"

If you're gonna get some plastic surgery, more power to you.  But i think you look great and you're adorable and have a great smile.  I don't think you should touch your face.  If you wanna get your neck or body done, I support that... I know I hate my neck and hangy chin thingy- and I'm only 35!  I just think your face is nice the way it is...and that plastic surgery might ruin your natural beauty!  But whatever you do is YOUR choice and no one has the right to tell you otherwise :)

Start weight:  252 pounds

High weight:  268 pounds

I really just can't believe the gall of some people.  I probably would've given her a sarcastic, "Welllll--I am so glad that you are happy for me. Thanks for the support" and then walked away.  She needs to learn a little lesson that I teach my kindergarteners--"If you don't have something nice to say--then don't say anything at all." I always tell my babies to keep mean/rude thoughts in their heads.

So sorry you're going through this. It sounds like you simply have a jealous friend who is trying to rain on your parade.  Be proud of what you've done!!

Hugs,
Pam

People say things like that all the time to me.  I just let it roll because many of them have not seen me in awhile and they are shocked at the weight loss.  However I also hear it from people who see me every week.  What I say is, " I weigh 173 lbs, there is NO WAY I am too thin or anorexic!"  sometimes I even add that I am still in the overweight  catagory according to my BMI.  Some people just have to say something and don't think about how it would effect you.  Let it roll and remember she still has to lose and is probably a bit jelouse.

Hi Evie,

I just looked at your before and after pictures too, and lady, you look 20 years younger~!! I'm so..so..soo. proud of you~!

Your face is BEAUTIFUL~!!  I agree with the others. If you want to get your neck  done, go for it; I probably will too, but I have a LOT of weight to still lose.

This is YOUR journey~!  Not your friends.  Give her a chance to explain, but if she still feels the same way, let her.  She is only "one" opinion; Listen to all the people who love you.... they are happy for you and so are we~!

YOU ROCK EVIE

God Bless You

Jealousy people enjoy being miserable, so they want to make you miserable too!  Hold up all that "wrinkly skin" with pride and work that body like you own it!!   So proud for you!
